Strenghthening CSO’s
A number of Civil Society Organizations are working selflessly for communities and thriving hard to gain donor support, raising funds and broadening their network. The survival of NGOs depends upon various factors like strategic planning, availability of funds, partnerships and communication with the virtual world amidst others. Due to growing compliances some CSOs find it hard to grow in the sector and thus lag in achieving desired growth.
To help non-profits survive and thrive in the face of rapid changes in India’s development sector, TBS strategically worked to strengthen the capacity of those organizations working at the grass-roots level using its own experience. The CSOs receive hands-on assistance for six-months in developing long-term management information systems (MIS) and improving their social media presence and capacities. The cohort is exposed to an ecosystem of sector peers and experts through physical gatherings and remote engagement formats, resulting in collaboration and increased efficiency and productivity
